Mental Health Support Group (for women) - Living Grace

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Statistics say that about one in four people will experience some sort of mental health concern at some point in their lives. Yet, it is often something that we don’t talk about. It is time to come out of the dark and find encouragement together! The Ridge offers a mental health support group (Living Grace) for women experiencing anxiety and depression. The Living Grace group will cover a 16-week curriculum which is Christ-centered and provides simple, innovative and grace-filled mental health solutions and community support. Topics include identity, stigma, medication, healthy thinking, rest/relaxation & joy, cycles & triggers, staying resilient and much more. Thursday Evenings | September 12 – January 16 | 6:30-8:00 pm | Registration fee: $15 for the workbook | Adult Classroom 103 | Facilitator: Dana King | Free childcare is provided for kids 4 months through 10 years of age. Registration is required on the Ridge website so we can prepare for your children. Living Grace is not intended to replace professional therapy and participation is voluntary. The Living Grace workbook is a biblical and educational resource designed to complement and work alongside professional services as well as church or community services.

Bacon Charcuterie Experience

4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

We invite you to learn more about the mission of Parenteen as you enjoy a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres provided by Master Chef David Baruthio, of Baru 66. As we continue to step into the lives of young moms and their children, we need your support. As we grow, we need to pursue additional staff and a facility. Both would allow us to broaden the educational opportunities we provide, increase the weekly support available to young parents and pursue programming for young dads. Impacting generations and changing a learned cycle isn’t easy but is incredibly important. Sharing the love of Jesus and empowering them with the truth of their worth is life changing. YOU can make a difference!   https://myparenteen.org/jasperevent/

Bethany’s Diaper Give Away is offered once a month in our office, and this is a day where Bethany Christian Services gives away free diapers of any size and some formula to families in the community who are in need of support, most of whom are refugee and immigrant families.
