What is OCC?
Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on mission for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with a “WOW” item, hygiene items, clothing, school supplies, and fun gifts. Collected boxes are distributed with the salvation message of Jesus Christ in a book written in their own language to children living in vulnerable countries.
PACKING PARTY
We will have a packing party on Saturday, November 23rd starting at 9 a.m. at NewLife Church in Pleasant Hill, IA (6036 NE 12th Ave). Please enter at the NE entrance marked NextGen. Bring your friends and family and join the fun!
Even if you were not able to join us for the packing party we encourage you to create your boxes with your family at home and bring your completed boxes to the church by 11AM on Sunday, November 24. We will celebrate and pray over each box together during the services on November 24.
