McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel & Cemetery 801 – 19th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa invites the community to attend their 93nd Annual Memorial Day Service of Remembrance to honor the service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve our country.
The Memorial Day Service of Remembrance will include:
Honored Keynote Speaker Colonel Robert C. King (Ret) Iowa National Guard
The presentation of colors by the Patriot Guard Riders of Iowa
The Wall of Flags by the Patriot Guard Riders of Iowa
Invocation and benediction by Chaplain Colonel Dean Baer, Iowa Army National Guard, Retired
Music by Greater Des Moines Community Band and Jackie Schmillen
Event is held outside – Lawn chair recommended.
