I’m a Texas boy who married an Iowa girl in a small town in Arkansas. We moved to West Des Moines in the spring of 2016, and Iowa has felt like home ever since. Our son, Silas, keeps us pretty busy, but we still find time to read books, watch movies, and occasionally play with the worship band at church. Lindsey plays piano, I play the drums, and Lindsey is much better than I am. I love Christian music, and I love hearing stories – whether they’re serious or silly. My time with you in the mornings is so much fun, so thanks for being part of it!

My husband, Josh, and I got married in 2004 and moved to Des Moines the same year. Just two years later, we welcomed our first child. Now, we have three amazing kids (and a dog) and our family loves this city. Food is a favorite in our house, so we love trying out new local restaurants (and regularly visiting our favorites). I’ve spent time in radio, television news, and in children’s ministry. I love spending time with our church family, and love to teach from God’s Word. I also love music, singing and leading worship alongside my husband (who is a wonderful guitarist). Jesus is everything, and everything I do centers around Him. I’m so grateful to be part of the team at Life 107.1!
